For the Lightfoot show, I used Jim Gordon as my subject. He played drums alongside Randy Newman, Steely Dan, Delaney and Bonnie and of course on Gordon's "Sundown" album. Like this pieces originator, Cathy Smith, I wanted to use someone who is of importance but has a dark side as well. The drum that you see works as framing the piece and integrating my other passion, drums.
